How to choose a gaming laptop under ₹1 lakh

Under ₹1 lakh is where gaming laptops make the most sense in India: you get a dedicated NVIDIA RTX card, a 144 Hz or 165 Hz display and a proper cooling system without paying for the flagship badge. Every laptop on this page is priced below ₹1,00,000 including GST.

What to look for: an RTX 4050 or RTX 5050 runs current games at 1080p high settings; an RTX 4060 or 5060 adds headroom for 1440p and ray tracing. Pair it with a Core i5 H-series, Core i7 or Ryzen 7, at least 16 GB RAM (upgradable to 32 GB) and a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. Check the GPU's power limit — the same card runs faster in a laptop that gives it 100 W or more.

At Karthik Computers you can see the screen and keyboard in person in Chennai, get a GST invoice, and split the payment with EMI on your card. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current price on any model.

Questions people ask

Which is the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh right now?

For most buyers an RTX 4060 laptop with a 144 Hz screen and Core i7 or Ryzen 7 is the best value below ₹1 lakh. Asus TUF, Lenovo LOQ and Acer Nitro all have models in this range. Message us for today's stock and price.

Is an RTX 4050 enough for gaming?

Yes for 1080p gaming at high settings in most titles, and for esports games at high frame rates. Go to RTX 4060 or 5060 if you want ray tracing or plan to keep the laptop for four or more years.

Should I get 16 GB or 32 GB RAM?

16 GB is enough for gaming today. Buy a model with two RAM slots so you can add a second stick later; we can upgrade it in store.

Do gaming laptops come with warranty and GST bill?

Yes. New gaming laptops carry the brand's India warranty (typically one year, extendable) and every purchase gets a GST invoice.
